Perfect hole in the wall with authentic and delicious food!
Tamales are available by the half or full dozen and absolutely amazing. Order at the counter and the food comes out REALLY quickly! We came for breakfast and it was so filling I couldn't finish. These tamales have the perfect ratio of meat to masa, and the size makes it possible to try a few different kinds before you get full. Can't finish? Take home leftovers for later! -

First time trying. Stopped by to pick up some breakfast tacos & pork tamales. Everything was fresh, hot and portions were more than even expected. Breakfast tacos are huge and tortillas are handmade. Love this place!

The menudo was really good, I loved the pork tamales, however the masa was a bit dry. The green salsa was good, not spicy but great to add flavor and soften the masa of the tamales.
Very happy!!!!! -

Bought two dozen chicken for a potluck at work, one "spicy" and one regular. People liked the tamales but couldn't tell the difference between the two besides the color.
The masa was nice and moist, meat was good but scarce.
My biggest complaint is the lack of spice, I know this is not the barrio part of Pasadena but I think in 2018 people can handle some spice. On top of that they gave us three tiny container of red sauce and three tiny containers of green sauce, they were fresh but had little to no heat and were mostly water.
This place is pretty weak, the prices are too high for the attitude you get from employees and the taco belling or taco cabaning of what should be good tamales/Mexican food.
I will probably be back, if I'm in a pinch and need to get something quick for a small get together, but it won't be my first choice. -

This place is amazing! Great portion! Huge homemade tortillas! Hubby and I were searching for a breakfast stop. Found this gem! I would drive all the way over here just to eat!
